One of my good friends raises turkey. She has one name Lucy that plays and is a hoot and a half.
Aged like a semi-fine wine.
Wonder is it because domesticated ones are looked after and not left to the elements.Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Adam.
Great post!Have a nice day! Angela Donavahttp://www.lookbooks.fr/
they live so short naturally or because of the predators?
Guess so many other creatures in the wild want to eat them
We have wild turkeys around here. They are interesting to watch and photograph.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Daisy!
I am not eating them so they could live longer, LOL! Happy Thanksgiving to you and all!
It's rough going out there in the wild. Of course being plump and juicy around Thanksgiving isn't a recipe for a long life.
One year at Thanksgiving, we had a domestic turkey and a wild one that Bill had shot just days before. We all liked the turkey from the super market MUCH better. :)
Thank you for more Facts of the Day!
